Demetria Clark- Global Director BAI
Demetria Clark is the Director and Founder of Birth Arts International. Demetria does the training sessions for the Distance Learning, European and other international locations.
Demetria is believer in birth and the power all women have inside them to give birth. At Birth Arts we know that the many roles a doula, postpartum doula and monitrice play at a birth can be an essential part of the women's birth experience. At Birth Arts we train doulas for the world of birth and all of it's many possibilities. Working with Birth Arts means that you are ready to make positive change in the world of birth, one doula at a time.
Demetria believes that as a doula trainer that it is her responsibility to constantly re-educate and always keep abreast of new developments in the doula world. She attends the Midwifery Today Conferences often to further her education in birth and the practices. In addition she teaches at Midwifery Today and the MANA conferences.
She is also a Master Herbalist and Aromatherapist, Certified Doula, and Lay Midwife. Demetria regularly writes for Special Delivery, Birth Kit, Vegetarian Baby and many other fine publications on herbalism, birth and other similar topics.
